Rides and Events

Check this page often for updated listings of all types of cycling events in and around our area. Rides require, at minimum, an appropriate bike in good working order, water, and a helmet. We suggest a spare tube, energy food, maybe a little cash in case we stop, and your biggest smile! Many rides are held subject to weather. It's a good idea to confirm dates, time and any specific requirements, too. We'll see you out there — and have fun!

Weekly Group Rides

Join us and other bike clubs on one of these fun rides. Whether you are new to cycling or an old pro, there is a ride that's right for you.

LIGHTS REQUIRED - Weekday Ride - "Lollipop loop" China Loop, 1-3 laps - 25-39 miles depending on number of laps of "Lollipop" (each lap is 7 miles), typically 1-3 groups start out but get spread out on the road, group 1 pace up to 18 mph, pretty steady tempo and a 2nd group pace up to 20 mph, pretty steady tempo and 3rd group pace 22+ with surges in tempo and all out attacks with sprints at specific points. Saturday Morning Ride - the Shop opens at 7:15 for coffee and bathrooms, there are typically 4 groups, routes to be determined by riders, (1) 12-15 mph pace, appx 18 miles, no drop (2) 15-18 mph pace 40ish miles, regroups at rest stops (3) 18-21 mph pace 40ish miles, regroups at rest stops (4) 22+mph pace, 50ish miles, regroups at rest stops, with everyone riding their on speeds, stretching the legs/lungs, the last 10 miles or so... but you never know when the wind will change...
